story 219

Green eyes got to my house around 9.
We walked over to a pool hall, nearby, and set up shop for a few hours.
Both of us sucked. But the breaks we took were nice – usually with me on his lap, snuggling on one of the big chairs.
M – My friends want to meet you.
G – Oh yeah? When?
M – Wednesday around 7.
G – Ok. I should be able to get off work in time for that.
No squirming. No resistance. Just an honest answer, with a reasonable constraint. I’ll take it.
Then, we cleaned up our table and walked to a nearby club, where one of his friends was having her 30th birthday party. He introduced me to the group and we danced. And even though I’m sure we both looked goofy, it still felt nice to have his arms around me. We even bumped into a few people I knew.
It was pretty late when we sauntered back to my place. It was also freezing, so I told him that he could come in and warm up – for five minutes (ie. we ain’t getting nekkid). We sat on the couch and talked for a bit, and just before he left:
M – So, can I ask you something?
G – Sure.
M – Are you dating anyone else?
G – haha, no. I don’t have time.
M – Dude! The correct answer was “No, [real name] because I’m dating you and you’re awesome, so I don’t WANT to date anyone else.”
He laughed and nodded and we kissed a bit before I pushed him back out into the cold.
Even though he’s a smart guy, I think he’s a little bit dense in the relationship department.
Time will tell.
He was probably caught off guard. Besides, he didn’t tell you he was, so that’s good. Or, he’s a big, fat liar. Your call. HF
Well, he left the dating site, the next day…so, I’m hoping for “good” and not “liar”.
Hmmm? The question is, did you tell him he was the only guy you were dating?
He didn’t ask…
And if he had. What would you have said?
The truth. We hadn’t had a conversation about being exclusive, but perhaps that would open up the gates.
You sure live an interesting life! HF
I like Green Eyes!
